Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week (TSAW) was initiated by the Canadian Home and School Federation in 1988.

The purpose of this week is to encourage parents and the wider community to recognize the personal and professional contributions that teachers and school staff make to children and their education.

TSAW lets teachers and staff know they are appreciated and that parents and the wider community want to work with them on the same team.

Please join NSFHSA in celebrating TSAW from February 11 to 17, by sharing the poster on social media, in schools and the wider community.
NSHFSA has now completed the grassroots project and we are now in the process of compiling a report on what we heard from parents across the province to be submitted to the Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development in October.
